  1. Descriptive statistics were used to obtain numbers and percentages of respondents and their socio behavioural and obstetric characteristics. About a third of respondents were non-gravida. Most were in their second trimester of pregnancy and the vast majority reported one sex partner in last twelve months preceding the survey
