  1. *p<0.05; ^27 respondents were classified as both a marijuana user, non-purchaser, and a marijuana and alcohol user, non-purchaser. **Reported test statistics are from t-tests for continuous variables and chi-squared tests for dichotomous and categorical variables. Only for prescription drug use did we use a Fisher’s exact test due to small cell counts. For this test only the p-value is reported. Degrees of freedom for marijuana user t-tests are 125 and the degrees of freedom for the dual purchaser t-tests are 62. Degrees of freedom for chi-squared tests are indicated in parentheses after the test statistic.
